Dear folks,
We enjoyed seeing all of you who braved the crisp weather Saturday. The fire under the bubbling apple butter was a great place to gather because of its warmth, so the stories were swapped with old friends and many new friends. The copper kettle with its sweet contents was once again a great success because it created a community of people who love “slow food.”
For those of you who are looking at the calendar and seeing the market season ending, you don’t have to fear about not getting any “slow food.” With normal Farmer’s Market winding down, we want to remind you that you are above normal. We appreciate the year round connectiveness with each of you. As a reminder, we will be visiting your community all winter every week.
We will have the savory beef, pork, lamb and honey. Also for the holidays you can get smoked turkey at $2.50/lb. The maximum amount of money for a turkey will be $50.00 no matter the size.
For our Little Rock supporters, the Susan Komen Race for the Cure is creating a change in the normalcy of Saturday’s schedule. Even though there is a change with the food club, we will still be able to make it to Christ Episcopal Church on Saturday. We will be in the parking lot and not inside. We will be there from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. So you can still order your weekly milk supply.
All orders for the week must be made by noon on Thursday by calling us at 501-727-5659 or emailing ed@gatewayfarm-ar.com. To check our available inventory, visit our website at http://www.petitjeanfarm.com/FarmInventory.html. You can also use your favorite locallygrown.net online market.
