Dear Folks,

Market days are always such a joy!  It is a real treat to get to participate in a real marketplace – a place for direct exchange of food and funds as well as an open forum for sharing ideas.  We like knowing the faces and people that go with the names on orders and the stories behind the folks buying and eating the food we work hard to bring you.  All of you are involved in such fascinating work and lives, and together you create quite an amazing tableaux.  Everyone has such an interesting path that has led them – recently or for a lifetime – to the world of healthy eating.  Would you be willing to share some of your stories?  We are always looking for ways to better understand you, our supportive eaters.  As we expand our regular updates, could we include features about you?  Let us know if you would be willing to share your experiences.  We look forward to the richness of your anecdotes already!

We are also looking forward to Easter!  We have just two delivery days before April 12.  Our next delivery day will be this Friday, April 3.  After that, we will have a delivery day on April 10, even though that is Good Friday.  Are you planning to serve ham or lamb for Easter?  Send us your orders now!  We need your orders by noon on Thursday, April 2 for the delivery on April 3.  Visit our website at www.petitjeanfarm.com/farminventory.html to see what inventory we have available.  You can place your order by phone (501-727-5659), by e’mail (ed@gatewayfarm-ar.com ), or online at www.village.locallygrown.net .  We will be at the Transportation Plaza in downtown Hot Springs from noon until 1:00 and at the Carmona Center in Hot Springs Village from 3:00 to 5:00.
