Dear Folks,
There is always something new and exciting going on in the world of local food. The local food movement is dynamic and innovative, so newness is no surprise. It’s always interesting though.
La Lucha Space is a wonderful new community space in Conway. Ever been to a speak-easy? Here’s the new version. The food is delicious and local and the price is up to you. They have live acoustic music, great atmosphere, and a great idea! You need to experience it. It is on the southeast corner of Prince and Donaghey and online at www.laluchaspace.com.
Conway is a hot spot for new developments right now. The Conway Farmers’ Market reopened in a new location this past weekend. It is now much more visible downtown, on Front Street. It is open Tuesday and Saturday, from 7:00 am until noon.
Stutzman’s Pantry in Belleville is off to a new start this week. At the Open House Saturday night, everyone got to see their remodeled and expanded store. They will be carrying all your favorite jams, baked goods, and fresh tomatoes, as well as much more.
Russellville will soon be getting a new local food option. We will be adding a regular delivery point there soon. Watch for more details.
In the meantime, we are back to our usual schedule of online and on site farmers’ markets this week. You can place your order by noon on Thursday by calling 501-727-5659, e’mailing ed@gatewayfarm-ar.com, or ordering online through any of the locally grown sites.
